Father's Day

Yesterday the kids, my girlfriend and I went to her neice’s birthday party. Six hours trying to casually make sure my kids haven’t died somewhere in the house or yard is a bit stressful, but there was no body count. There was an injuries list — nothing a couple band-aids didn’t fix, though.

Today is Father’s Day (as you probably already know). I just got done making and eating lunch. I had the kids picking up the apartment for me while I cooked.

At one point, my son came into the kitchen to throw some trash away and said, “What smells so good?” That was the highlight of my Father’s Day weekend.

My Mac-N-Cheese With Oregano is the best.
